Tired of coughing up phlegm?? Here at GrowKind we switched from smoking to vaporizing 10 years ago, and our lungs have never felt better. In that time we have tried every vaporizer you can think of including domes, digital vaporizers, light bulbs, heat guns, and the volcano. Some work better than others but after all that time we still go back every day to our vape pens. Do yourself and your lungs a favor and head over to Vaporwarehouse. Don't Smoke! -- Vaporize!

Gaia vegging Gaia is a plant I grew from seed. She was germinated on December 19th. She is a species bred by an organic cultivator, and it is named after her: 'Martha Super Dank'. I am very excited to see how this one does. This plant may be returned to the cultivator of the strain for breeding. 03/27/04
Hera and Iris New home for these two clones. I took them from my Indigo sativa/indica. 03/27/04
3 Northern Lights These are not yet sexually mature, but I'm keeping them moist and un-stressed to encourage females. 03/27/04
Juturna and Kypris Two more pure-water clones. They are a bit behind the first two clones. 04/15/04
Larenta pistils This is the only female of the three Northern Lights 5 seeds I germinated. I have named her 'Larenta' after the Roman earth goddess. She is showing pistils after almost 2 months of 24-hour veg. She was germinated on February 24th. 04/15/04
Larenta 7 weeks veg Just to show her height un-trained. 04/15/04
Hera veg 04/15/04

Group veg Harvest 2004a is alomst finished. As soon as there is space these will go under the HPS for a couple weeks of veg before flowering. 04/17/04
HPS Group Veg And then there was light. We'll see how this goes! 04/19/04
Larenta Veg Week 10 She is 70 days old from seed today, germinated on February 24th. 05/01/04
HPS Group Veg The larger 3 have had 2 full weeks of 16/8 photo schedule. Incredible growth, and no signs of flowering. The smaller 2 are just starting to veg under the HPS. I don't know if they'll catch up enough to produce much. The harvest deadline is July 10th, so I need to allow a full 6-8 weeks for flowering. 05/01/04
HPS Group Veg Still vegging... 05/08/04

Flowering Day 8 Group 05/18/04
Flowering Day 8 Group Tops The yellowish growth at the end of every branch is indication of full flowering. Going from 16/8 to 12/12 took them from veg to flower quickly. 05/18/04

Flowering Day 34 Macro NL This is a macro view of a flower on the Northern Lights #5 (from seed) at 34 days of flowering. It is starting to smell fruity, and quite frosty compared to the Indigo clones. 06/15/04

Nitrogen burn This is what too much Nitrogen in the first two weeks of flowering does. Normally I give a final doxe of N in the first 2 weeks of flowering, but this time I tried to push too much. 06/17/04
Nitrogen Some of the plants that got the heavy dose of N didn't burn at all, but have the lush, green foliage I was pushing them for. This plant is actually one of the smaller ones, and as you can see there is no burn damage. 06/17/04

Nitrogen burn Notice the curled under leaves and browned tips. 06/17/04
Nitrogen Burn The flowers are still developing beautifully, but the leaves are looking sad. 06/17/04
Nitrogen This is the health I was hoping for in all of them, but some took more than others. 06/17/04
Nitrogen burn Another picture of Nitrogen-burned leaves. 06/17/04
Flowering Day 43 Group NL #5 pistils are at about 30% amber, and I will flush the soil after it dries out from the most recent feeding. The Indigo clones are only at about 10% amber. 06/22/04

Harvesting NL #5 at Day 49 These are a couple of the lower branches from the Northern Lights #5. Bag for leaf, bag for Grade A trim (June Bag), tray for manicured buds. The maincured buds will dry in a dark closet until they are not so dank. Then they will go into paper bags for the slow dry. 06/28/04
Flowering Day 50 Group Last moments before harvesting. 06/29/04

4 Hanging Indigos I had to string them up here for lack of a better room. The blackouts are to protect the innocent ;) 06/29/04
Hanging Indigos 06/29/04
Hanging Indigos This initial hang-and-dry is to quicken up the drying process by a few days. They are in the dark except for an incandescent for trimming. 06/29/04
Leaf Large, discolored fan leaves get composted. The smaller, greener leaves get put into a brown paper bag for cooking, hash, smoking, etc. 07/02/04
Grade A Trim These are leaflets, scraggled flowers, and other bits that are covered in trichomes. These are the last to be manicured, and usually get used salad form. This mix is excellent for joint rolling. 07/02/04
Manicured Buds These are the smoking buds. They have been manicured and are drying slowly in brown paper bags. They will be flipped every day for a week or until they are dry enough to start the curing process. 07/02/04
Manicured Buds These are drying faster by sitting in a baking pan before going into mason jars. 07/02/04
NL5 Bud Macro That'll do. 07/02/04

Final Yield Not dry enough yet for a final weight measurement, but I am happy with these results. 07/04/04
