Long Story...........
The previous picture shows the other seed that I tried to germinate. The reason I haven't updated the garden is because that seed decided to do nothing. After a week, I put in another one and that did nothing too. These two seeds in my opinion did look old and dry, they had cracks in the cases too. This wasn't the first out of the pack that I had trouble with either. In total 1 out of 5 seeds have germinated, the others have done f**k all. I contacted THC (The Highland Company) who acted as agent for 'Dutch Passion'(The Brand) and gave them a detailed explanation of the circumstances, not really expecting to recieve a refund or exchange.
They didn't even have the courtesy to reply to me.
I won't bother buying from them in the future, UNO CUSTOMER LOST!
Anyway, here is phase two......on day two.....it RYHMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This seed looked a lot different from the dry cracked ones I had dealt with previuosly. It was 'green and veiney' and the results look good already. |

I looked at the germinating seed and the root stork part was 1 inch and starting to bed into the tissue. Time me thinks to plant the baby! |

| 18hrs old! |
Less than a day after I planted the babe, it has popped up with it's little seed leaves and a pair of propar leaves are forming from within. Hopefully it will continue to show the eagerness to grow. |

Well, its going slow. The last couplke of days it didn't grow at all. Overnight though I noticed that the leaves increased in size. I changed the setup so that the HPS has priority, rather than the flouro- seems to have worked. Still, patience is a virtue |

Second set of leaves are well on the way. Looking good so far, still a little slow for my liking. I am still only feeding with plain water. I will start ferting in two weeks. |

The second set of leaves have almost doubled in size overnight!! This is more like it, hopefully it has kicked into gear- no pun intended!! I will be adding a small fan in the next few days to give gentle movement as to strengthen the baby up a little. Roll on...... |

| Disaster- BINNED |
All was going well since my last update. The plant got to the third node and then only produced ONE leaf. I then wwaited and noticed that it was not sprouting any further growth. I decided to cut this leaf off to try and encourage further growth(upwards). This has not worked so on the 07/06 I decided to bin the plant. It is obviously genetically shite. I have attempted to grow sevceral palnts with the SKUNK#1 strain from 'Dutch Passion' and all of the attempts have been flawed from the outset. I will not be using that strain again.
On the 07/06 i germinated a 'Power Plant' seed, again from 'Dutch Passion'. This sucessfully germinated and I potted it yesterday (08/06) - Pictures to follow of this new attempt.

24 Hours old and what can I say. Power plant is living up to its name. I pushed the seed well below ground level and it has managed to pop its head up through the soil and give me 20mm of height , all in 24 hours. Ive grown power plant before and both times (grew two) they were stunning. Well fingers crossed. |

Babe is growing quicker than the Skunk strain. Power Plant is obvoiusly the better genetically. Compare this growth to the previous attempt- we are only on day 4. |

2nd set of leaves have appeared overnight. This is growing a lot quicker than SKUNK#1 strain. I put a little fan in with it to cool the baby down as we are getting some rather hot weather for a change in the England. Anyway, baby is growing good, try comparing it to the last atempt, difference is notable. |

Growing nicely. I ntoiced the leaves were 'reaching up' towards the light. I raised the pot a little closer, have to be careful it dont get scorched though. |

Grown a little, but not a lot! Whats going on. Ive grown Power Plant in the past, solely using the flouros and it grew quicker!! Lets wait and see, it is a littel hot in here so maybe thats slowing it down. |

Growth spurt alert- it ryhmes!!!! Plant has taken off in the last two days, good leaf growth all round. Another set of leaves appearing, the change has been visible overnight. Just what I like to see, hopefully it will gain a little height now too. |

Its growing-fact. Now i do like a bush! But this plant seems to have a lack of upward motivation! Its sprouting loads of leaves, from every node, but it still seems to be lingering at a very short height. Im gonna 'leave' her alone(no pun intended) and see how she develops. A bushy plant is beet I suppose due to the limits of my closet, but i could manage a 4foot plant easily. Well at three weeks, I still think she is a little small. The plant continues....... |

| BACK TO DAY 1- THIS IS GONNA BE |
Been away a while, i totally lost faith in the plant and left it to grow. Well about a week ago it had reached about 18inches which is totally shite. I think the plant was retarded as I have grown plants before with less love and attention and they have been biggens. Anyway, i was going to knock it on the head and give up, but i thought i'll try flowering it- maybe that would help. It turns out after 5 days that it was a male, so it was all a waste of f**kin time. :[
I got another seed out - POWER PLANT variety and bunged it in some paper towel. Overnight it sprouted! I planted it and one day later I have almost 20mm of growth- like it, like it. Well this is it last effort. then bollocks, Ill go and buy my hash instead!!!
