| Description | Small apartment closet measuring 18"X40". The lighting is a digital 400 with hortalux bulb and a cool hood. The ecoplus scrubber is connected to the hood and a ecoplus 4" inline fan pumps fresh air threw the wall and exhaust scrubbed air under a claw foot tub in the bathroom. Fresh air enters threw a hole at the far bottom right of the closet where a hole was cut threw wall and comes out behind kitchen cabinets. Also pass power threw this hole totally undetectable. The planter boxes were made from 1/4" ply lined with 6 mil black plastic and four rubber wheels mounted on bottom to roll them. Also drilled 6 to 8 - 1/2" inch holes in the bottom but did not cut the plastic, will cut when its time to start the flushing process. One is larger than the other so they can be maneuvered in an out the closet. This makes daily tying easier and will allow for them to be wheeled to the tub for flushing in the last weeks!!! Mylar lines the walls and also a small black board I set in place before I close the door. My wattage is about 90 to 100 watts per sqft. Temp stays bellow 85 in the hottest days. This will be my first "scrog" (screen of green) attempt. I used 2"X 2" chicken wire tied to bamboo stick bought at a garden store. The screen is about 8"s above the soil. When the plants were just starting to touch the screen I flipped them to 12 and 12. I have 3 in the large box and two in the small box. This is my test run. I'm wondering if I waited to long to flip or if I have to many plants. Time will tell. Nutrients: Miracle Grow Potting Soil-(time release nutrients) I add sweet every watering, monster bloom every two weeks since flowering, and Humboldt County Flower hardener (Gravity)three weeks before they are done! Hope all the things I've read about the miracle grow is right. I put away the flora nova nutrients to give this a try. |
